Niagara Falls, Day 2

In the room, the whole side of the wall that faced the Falls was just a large window. In the bottom right hand corner was a small portion of the window that could be partially opened, which means that we fell asleep to the calming sound of the Falls, it was awesome. Then, we woke up and the first thing we saw was this:

We went down to breakfast and ate a ton of food and then headed outside to take the Incline Railway down the hill to the Falls. This was a cute little ride, but it cost like $2 a person ONE WAY, so we only rode it the once. Here is the view:

As you can tell, I think, we had GREAT weather! This time in June was exactly one week before the "Official" start of the summer season. The crowds were extremely low and while it could be chilly in the morning and late at night, the rest of the day was just perfect :)

So, we made it down to the Stone "something or other" Visitor Center and out the door to one of the coolest sensations ever...

You don't really think the Falls will be as cool as they are. You can't really grasp how awesome it is just by seeing it on TV, trust me. You just find yourself staring at it, like Wow! We walked along the Falls until we came to our first activity, The Maid of the Mist!!!

We all REALLY enjoyed the ride and didn't get seasick at all. We did have to wait in line, but it was shaded, not that long and the weather was nice so it was fine. At the end of the line they gave you the blue ponchos and you boarded the boats. Tristan & I were lucky enough to get a place right on the edge of the boat :) Arthur stood in the middle to be able to see both sides at the same time (easy since he towers over everyone!) The boat gets SO close to the Falls and it is just SO COOL! I wish I had the words to describe to you all how cool it was, but I am just not poetic, so you'll all have to go check it out for yourselves!! Here are some pics:

On the last pic, you can see a red deck structure... that is The Cave of the Winds, on the American side of the Falls. We did that on our last day :)
