After that, we stepped outside and followed a path to some well manicured gardens that also had gardens of vegetables and medicinal herbs, it was very beautiful and peaceful. We also saw a few peacocks and a HUGE Turkey! Then we walked on the other side where all the trees and stuff were. After walking around we stopped at the front building and got some ice cream. I got this yummy frozen yogurt. You pick a size and then you pick a frozen fruit... there were blackberries, strawberries, peaches, raspberries, strawberries, bananas and a few others. They mixed it together and gave it to you and it was SO yummy! Haven't seen that stuff anywhere here in the states, but it was all over up there.
We headed back towards the Falls and stopped at The White Water Walk. This place was a teeny-tiny building right ON the side of the main road and there wasn't a lot of parking. We walked in, looked around the gift shop and bought tickets. We then got into a rather old looking, large, elevator complete with a real live operator! and headed down. At the bottom it was like a bunker, sort of, and then a long wet tunnel. When you walked out you were right on the Niagara River. The rapids were quite loud, it was very neat. The water is very blue and moves so quickly... it was just...neat! You walk along the river and there are a few places to walk down and get closer. It's not a very long walk and then you turn around and leave the way you came.

We drove a few more minutes down the road or back up the road...something, to souvenir city. Complete tourist trap, but had some cute souvenirs and a neat glass blowing shop with free demonstrations. Dinner that night was at Casa Vostra, a nice little Italian place. The food was very good!!
